Product Introduction
Introduction of Hydroxypropyl Cellulose
Odorless and tasteless, flammable, thermoplastic. Dissolves in water to form a transparent to milky white viscous colloidal solution. Soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether, high degree of substitution is also insoluble in alcohol. Insoluble in water above 38℃.
Physical and chemical properties of Hydroxypropyl Cellulose
Appearance: white or off-white powder
Granularity: 100 mesh, passage rate more than 98.5%; 80 mesh, passage rate 100%
Carbonization temperature: 280-300°C
Visual density: 0.25-0.70/cm3 (usually around 0.5g/cm3)
Specific gravity: 1.26-1.31
Color change temperature: 190-200℃
Surface tension: 42-56dyn/cm (2% water soluble)
Solubility: 1, dissolved in water: add Hydroxypropyl Cellulose slowly into the vigorously stirred water until it is completely dissolved, if all the material is added it will be difficult to dissolve; take 20-30% of the predetermined amount of water and heat it up to above 60℃, add Hydroxypropyl Cellulose slowly under the condition of full stirring, after all the HPC is added, then add the remaining 80-70% of the water, it can be completely dissolved. 2, dissolved in Organic solvent: add Hydroxypropyl Cellulose slowly into organic solvent under full stirring, if one-time addition is difficult to dissolve.
Preparation method of Hydroxypropyl Cellulose
(1) Treatment of cellulose with alkali and propylene chloride;
(2) Treating wood pulp or lignin pulp with high concentration of sodium hydroxide impregnation to produce alkaline cellulose solution, filtering and pressing this solution to remove the excess sodium hydroxide, and then further reacting with propylene oxide to obtain.
Company Information
The company's main import and export products include
(1)Organic Raw Materials:It has a wide range of uses, which can be divided into three aspects: first, it is used as a raw material for the production of polymer chemical products, i.e., monomers for polymerisation reactions; second, it is used as a raw material for other organic chemical industries, including fine chemical products; and third, it is used as a solvent, refrigerant, antifreeze, and gas adsorbent. Basic organic chemical industry is the basis for the development of the production of various organic chemical products, is the main component of the modern industrial structure. (2)Intermediates:A material produced in an API process step that must undergo further molecular changes or refinement to become an API. Intermediates may or may not be separated.Our Intermediates products include Pharmaceutical Intermediates, Pesticide Intermediates and Dye Intermediates.Intermediates are semi-finished products, which are products in the middle of the production of certain products, for example, to produce a product, which can be produced from intermediates to save costs.Intermediates are available from cyclic compounds such as benzene, naphthalene, anthracene, etc. by sulfonation, alkali fusion, nitration, reduction and other reactions.Our Intermediates products include pharmaceutical intermediates, pesticide intermediates and dye intermediates.
