Introduction of the product

1. Introduction to Polyethylene
A thermoplastic resin made by polymerization of ethylene, it is one of the most common plastics, more than 100 million tons of polyethylene resin is produced annually, accounting for 34% of the total plastics market.PE is a typical crystalline polymer with a melting point of 130 ℃ to 145 ℃, which is characterized by odorless, tasteless, non-odorous, non-toxic, non-tarnish surface, milky white waxy particles.
2. Advantages of polyethylene:
a. Resistant to low temperature or cold, the lowest use temperature can reach -100~-70°C;
b. Corrosion resistant (not resistant to nitric acid), insoluble in general solvents at room temperature;
c. Low water absorption, less than 0.01%;
d. Excellent electrical insulation;
e. High ductility and impact strength as well as low friction, it exhibits strong creep under sustained force, this creep can be reduced by adding short fibers.

Material properties of Polyethylene
Corrosion resistance, excellent electric insulation (especially high frequency insulation), can be chlorinated, irradiated modified, can be reinforced with glass fiber. HDPE has high melting point, rigidity, hardness and strength, low water absorption, good electrical properties and radiation resistance; LDPE has good flexibility, elongation, impact strength and permeability; UHMWPE has high impact strength, fatigue resistance and wear resistance. High-density polyethylene is suitable for making corrosion-resistant parts and insulating parts; low-density polyethylene is suitable for making films, etc.; ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is suitable for making vibration-damping, wear-resistant and transmission parts.
Polyethylene molding properties
1. Crystalline material, small moisture absorption, do not need to be fully dried, good fluidity, fluidity is sensitive to pressure, it is advisable to use high-pressure injection, the material temperature is uniform, filling speed is fast, holding pressure is sufficient. Direct gating is not recommended to prevent uneven shrinkage and increase of internal stress. Pay attention to choose the location of the gate to prevent shrinkage and deformation.
2.Shrinkage range and shrinkage value is large, obvious direction, easy to deformation and warping. Cooling speed should be slow, the mold is set up with cold material cavity and cooling system.
3. The heating time should not be too long, otherwise decomposition will occur, burns.
4. When the soft plastic parts have shallow side grooves, the mold can be forced to release.
5. Melt rupture may occur, should not be in contact with organic solvents to prevent cracking.
That is, high-pressure low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Film is its main processed product, followed by sheets and coatings, hollow containers such as bottles, cans, drums and other various injection molding and blow molding products, pipes and insulation and sheathing of wires and cables. It is mainly used in packaging, agriculture and transportation sectors.
High-density polyethylene (HDPE), density 0.945 ~ 0.96 g / cm3, melting point 125 ~ 137 ℃;
Linear low-density PE (LLDPE), density 0.925 g/cm3, melting point 120~125℃;
High-pressure low-density PE (HP-LDPE), density 0.918 g/cm3, melting point 105~115°C.
