Introduction of hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose
Basic Information
Hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose (HEMC) is a kind of Coating Intermediates, widely used in water-based emulsion coatings, building construction and building materials, printing ink, oil drilling, etc. It acts as a thickening and water-retaining agent to improve the workability, and is used in dry and wet mortar series products. Hydroxyethylmethylcellulose is widely used as an excipient in pharmaceutical preparations, including oral tablets, suspensions and topical preparations.
Function and application:
1 Pharmaceutical as a hydrophilic gel skeleton material for the preparation of slow-release preparations, porosity agent, coating agent. It can also be used as thickening, suspending, dispersing, bonding, emulsifying, film-forming and Water Retention Agent of the preparation.
2, food processing can also be used as, adhesion, emulsification, film, thickening, suspension, dispersion, water retention agent.
3 daily chemical industry used as toothpaste, cosmetics, detergents and other additives.
4, used as cement, gypsum, lime gelling agent, water retention agent, powder building materials is an excellent admixture.
5. hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose is widely used as an excipient of pharmaceutical preparations, including oral tablets, suspensions and topical preparations.
Its properties are similar to those of methyl cellulose, but the presence of hydroxyethyl group makes hydroxyethyl methyl cellulose easier to dissolve in water, the solution is more compatible with salt, and has a higher coagulation temperature.
Route of administration: GRAS listed. permitted in Europe for use in non-injectable preparations (for oral suspensions, tablets and topical preparations).
Stability and storage conditions: Hydroxyethylmethylcellulose is hygroscopic and should be stored in a cool, dry place.
Company information
The company's main import and export products include
(1)Catalysts And Auxiliaries:A catalyst is generally defined as a substance that increases the rate of a reaction without changing the total standard Gibbs free energy change of the reaction. It can also be expressed as a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without altering the chemical equilibrium and whose own mass and chemical properties do not change before or after the chemical reaction.Auxiliaries (auxiliaries; additives) Defined in medicine as excipients and additives used in the production of medicines and in the formulation of prescriptions, i.e., a general term for all materials other than the main active ingredient of the drug, and an important constituent of pharmaceutical preparations.
(2)Organic Raw Materials:The organic raw materials are Petrochemicals made of petroleum and natural gas, and the industries of various organic chemical products are produced or fractionated by the raw material gas after coal gasification and the coal tar recovered by dry distillation. Our Organic Raw Materials include Industrial Ethylene、 Ester Compounds 、Ether Compounds.
(3)Petrochemicals:The chemical isolated or derived from petroleum or natural gas.Petrochemicals are everywhere and are integral to modern societies. Our Petrochemicals include Special Oils And Fats, Petroleum Product Additives, petroleum waxes and so on.
